Black Rose Table

Notes from the bench

A wide round top of deep black resin with a cluster of preserved roses set just under the surface: red and burnt orange, among green leaves, ferns and flecks of gold. The black is high-gloss and mirror-like, so it holds reflections of the room, and it sets off the red of the roses.

The roses are real and preserved, and placed by hand. In the photograph the top rests on a slim black metal frame with four legs and cross braces. It suits living rooms, offices and lounges.
