Slices and live edges in many of the pieces. The grain stays in view, and the resin follows the wood's own edge.
Seven tables, a serving board, a jewelry box and a clock: epoxy resin in every piece, set around wood, dried flowers or both. Each one is a one-off.

Wood first, then flowers, then resin, then time: the order most pieces follow.

Most pieces start with a piece of wood: a slice, or a cut with its live edge intact. It goes into a white mold first. Some pieces have no wood at all; a black or pink top is poured around flowers alone.

Epoxy resin is mixed and, when a piece calls for it, tinted: clear, milky pink, ocean blue, mint, green, black or copper. It is poured by hand from a cup or a bucket into the mold, over the wood and between the petals.

After the pour, a piece usually stays in its mold while the resin hardens.

Out of the mold, a piece is usually shaped and sanded until wood and resin meet at one level, then given a smooth finish, most often glossy.
Breeze of Resin is a workshop in Türkiye. Wood, dried flowers and epoxy resin come together there, one piece at a time.
The images in this section are frames from the workshop's own footage: wood set in a mold, flowers laid by hand, resin poured.
