Notes from the bench

A serving board with a tail-fin handle that splits into two lobes. Most of the board is clear resin holding pressed flowers, eucalyptus and other leaves, and slices of dried citrus; in one corner a panel of olive wood keeps its grain and knot.

The listing describes the resin as food-safe and the board as suited to cheese, charcuterie and appetizers. It also stands as a decorative tray or a wall piece. Every pour is different, so no two boards match. As listed, it measures 41 × 25 cm and is about 1 cm thick.
